Energetic cord cutting is a practice that involves severing the energetic ties that bind us to people, places or things. When we connect with others on a physical or emotional level, it is believed that energetic cords are created that bind us to those individuals, creating what can be thought of as an energetic tie. Sometimes, however, once a connection or relationship with an individual has come to and end, those energetic bonds we have formed with them can remain. If the relationship ended in an unexpected or traumatic way; particularly in the case of romantic relationships, this can cause a host of negative thoughts, feelings and emotions which can then become emotionally draining for the person experiencing them. Our Cord Cutting Ceremony is used to sever these energetic ties with the aim of releasing negative energy and emotions and to promote healing and personal growth. By cutting these energetic cords, we can free ourselves from the negative patterns and emotions that we may have had with an individual, allowing us to then create space for positive change and growth in our lives. WHAT HAPPENS DURING A CORD CUTTING CEREMONY? Despite the sound if it, our cord cutting ritual is a gentle but highly effective energetic cleanse. The session includes time beforehand to discuss the person* you wish to release. If it is difficult to talk about the person, then that is absolutely fine, however, letting your therapist have the name of the person (first name only required) will be beneficial in order for the ceremony to be as personal as possible. Once you are ready to begin the ceremony, you will take a moment to get comfortable on the therapy bed and start to relax. Your therapist will open the ceremony by cleansing the space and casting a protective circle around you before guiding you through a meditation. When your therapist feels you are ready, they will begin to call in the energy of the person you wish to release. This will be done with pure love and light. This ceremony isn't designed for vengeance, to try and forget this person ever existed or to spite them. We will not be looking at their faults or trying to belittle them in any way but instead, we are honouring ourselves by acknowledging that we are ready to release them and move forwa This can evoke a multitude of intense emotions. Do not try to repel or dismiss anything you begin to feel as it is exactly these emotions that we are trying to eliminate from your energetic body.
