Aftercare Information

We hope you enjoyed your session.  You may have experienced some physical sensations or mental images during your session or, you may have not.  This is okay.  Everyone has a different experience.  Some may feel a dramatic shift immediately whilst others won’t really feel anything.  There is no right or wrong way to experience an energy healing  session, however, most people will enjoy the feeling of relaxation.  Remember that there will have been energetic shifts that have taken place throughout your body and your energetic system is working hard to dispel any negative energy.  Work with this shift and listen to your body; rest as much as you need and as much as you can.

 

It is important to note that you may experience what is known as a ‘Healing Crisis’.  This is nowhere near as dramatic and as scary as it sounds!  It simply means that the session may bring unprocessed emotions and pain to the surface in order to be released.  You may find yourself becoming tearful.  Be sure to let it go.  Holding it in will only cause blockages in your energy system once more and undo all of the work you have done today!  It is a very positive sign that your energy system is now re-balancing itself.

 

Self-care tips following your session:

 

  • Drink more – water or herbal tea is best.  You may find you need to visit the toilet more often.  This is just your energetic system eliminating toxins.

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine.

  • Rest as much as possible

  • Enjoy a light diet for at least the next 24 hours.

  • Take a detoxifying bath – try adding about 250g of Epsom salts to a hot bath and soak for at least 15-20 minutes.  This will help with the detoxification process and will provide your body with essential minerals.

  • Journal – it may help to write down any thoughts, feelings or emotions that surface in the days following your treatment.
